COVID Ministry Updates

Due to COVID, our normal ministries and times have been adjusted for now.  Please see the list below for the latest information. Check back for more updates.

Sunday Service

At the center of our life together is Jesus Christ our Savior. Our Sunday service is a weekly remembrance and celebration of Jesus’ victory over sin, death and the devil through his death and resurrection. We also gather for other times of daily prayer, such as evening services during the seasons of Advent and Lent.

Sunday School - 9am-10am

We believe one of the most important things parents can do for their kids is to pass along the comfort of God's Word to them. That's why Trinity volunteers put in so much work to prepare and teach lessons to the next generation. Our Sunday School volunteer teachers are vetted and skilled at preparing and presenting fun crafts along with memorable and relevant lessons to your kids every Sunday morning at 9am. During the summer months, our volunteers present lessons to one big group: from toddlers up to middle schoolers. The goal is to provide your child with a safe and social time on a Sunday morning to grow alongside other kids in their confidence of God's love. During the fall and winter months, we break up the students into three groups: Pre-K to first grade age, grade school age, and middle school age. We value your trust when bringing your child to Sunday School at Trinity! We thank you for allowing us to share Jesus with them!

Sunday Morning Bible Class - 9am to 10am

Join us every Sunday morning for an hour devoted to diving into the Bible together! Bring your questions, your experiences, your concerns and your comments as we encourage one another in this discussion-based study. You won't be put on the spot, or asked to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Whether you're a chatty person, or learn by silently listening, you are welcome! Sometimes we study topics (e.g. "Baptism," or "Politics in light of the Bible"). Sometimes we take a book of the Bible and just read it! We'd love to see you and grow with you in this relaxed and easy-going hour of learning.

10:15am Worship Service
We understand that going to a new church for the first time can be intimidating or even scary. “What if it’s totally unfamiliar and I don’t know what to do? What if people look at me? What if my kids scream?” We have a lot of kids here at Trinity, and a little screaming never got in the way of our worship. We love children here, and would be happy to have them be part of our worship time. Jesus wants the little children to hear his Word too! If parents feel their children’s noises are disrupting other worshipers, a nursery located in the back of the church blocks out unwanted noise while allowing parents and children to still hear and see the service.

We have our service completely printed out for you in a bulletin, so even if it’s totally new for you, it will be easy to follow along. We are a very friendly group of people. If you have any questions, just ask someone near by. The ushers are always ready to help as well. And people MAY look at you, but only to give a friendly smile of welcome.
Communion
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month at Trinity. We believe that participation in the Lord’s Supper should be preceded by instruction in the teachings of Scripture and of our church, concerning this sacrament and other important articles of faith. We also believe that such participation serves as a public testimony of unity in faith among those who are communing together. We therefore do not follow an “open Communion” practice.

We invite our guests to attend and hear Jesus’ Word with us. We do ask that our visitors wait to receive the Lord’s Supper with us until you have spoken with our pastor. We understand that this Holy Supper gives great and powerful gifts. In this way it is like a strong medicine. And just as a doctor does not prescribe medicine to a patient he has not examined, lest he cause harm to his patient, the pastor seeks to care for souls and not to do them harm.

Our pastor is more than willing to explain our worship practices in more detail, and to study the Bible with anyone who wishes to know more about the teachings of the Lutheran Church. An introductory study on the teachings of Scripture and the Lutheran Church is offered throughout the year to those who wish to learn, to review, or to explore the possibility of membership in our church

11:30am Fellowship

Our church is friendly and loves chatting after service over refreshments. This is a great time to connect with Pastor Mike, catch up with members or meet someone new.
